9. ICMP
The “Pr emium Certified HDMI” cables are tested to work w ith high bandwidth as is the case
with 4K HDR content. These can be more exp ensive though. W hen using active and/or optical
cables you should v erify if the integrated receiver and sender are HDMI certified to guara ntee
to work compliant with the HDMI protocol. You can request the HD MI certificate to the manu-
facturer of the cable.
The ICMP is not supporting Ethernet-over-HDMI and such specific c ables are thus not required.
