Configuring NSF with SSO MSFC Redundancy
This chapter describes how to configure MSFC redundancy using Cisco nonstop forwarding (NSF) with
stateful switchover (SSO) on the Catalyst 6500 series switches.

Note The term MSFC is used throughout this chapter to refer to MSFC2, MSFC2A, and MSFC3 except where
specifically differentiated.

Supervisor Engine 32 with PFC3B/PFC3BXL, Supervisor Engine 720 with PFC3A/PFC3B/PFC3BXL,
and Supervisor Engine 2 with PFC2.
