an Advanced VSAT Network.
Comtech EF Data leverages the concept of BandwidthonDemand (BoD) by taking advantage of
dSCPC (Dynamic Single Channel per Carrier) in a mesh environment and adapting it to Comtech
EF Data’s Advanced VSAT Network platform. This adds dynamic point

ultipoint SCPC mesh
circuits to the network’s existing hub and remote link, and DVB
S
2 outbound and VersaFEC
dSCPC to the return link. Comtech EF Data manages these elements, and provides BoD in a mesh
environment through its Vipersat Management System (VMS), the software switching engine
behind our Vipersat technology.
