C.3 Collect the Pre-Reboot Diagnostic Information from the CDM-840
CAUTIONThis procedure applies only to units running Firmware Version 1.6.2.6 or
newer
.
Step
To do this:
Type this at the Serial Interface “->” prompt:
1 Confirm that the Interfaces are operational.
->info
2 Enable diagnostic information display.
->Shift 6 <cr>
->display_diag_info
Note: You may be prompted to press “enter” and press
“y <CR>” a few times.
3 Collect log files.
->LoggerSnapshot
Wait 30 seconds.
4 Enable traffic logger.
->wan_dll_traffic_log_start()
Allow traffic to run for a brief period.
5 Disable traffic logger.
->wan_dll_traffic_log_stop()
6
End the Serial Interface text capture session.
Make sure to verify that you save the file to
your “temp” folder successfully before
rebooting.
->exit
Refer to your terminal emulator program User Guide or
Help feature.
You may now reboot the CDM-840 and proceed to C.4 Collect and Report the Post-Reboot
Diagnostic Information from the CDM-840.
