M.3.1.1 Configure DPC
Do these steps:
1. In the ACM Demodulator Settings section of the CDD-880 HTTP InterfaceConfiguration |
WAN | ACMpage, set the corresponding CDM-840 Management IP Address. If the system
is running dSCPC, this address is set automatically. Once you set this address and click
[Submit], the CDD-880 begins to send LQRMs.
2. In the Tx Dynamic Power Control (DPC) Configuration section of the CDM-840 HTTP
Interface ‘Configuration | WAN | Mod | DPC page, use your network’s link budget
information to enter the terminal’s Maximum Data Rate and the Tx Power Margin. Click
[Submit] when done.
3. If operating with ACM: Use the drop-down list in the Tx ACM Configuration section of the
CDM-840 HTTP Interface
Configuration | WAN | Mod | ACM page to select the desired
Max MODCOD. Click [Submit] when done.
