If the selected location already contains data, then the time and date stamp of the previously
stored configuration displays for identification purposes, as this example shows:
Save Config to Loc: 9

If the selected location does not contain a previously stored configuration, the screen appears as
this example shows:
Your Configuration has
been Saved to Loc 9 (ENT)
Press ENTER or CLEAR to return to the previous menu.
If the selected location does contain a previously stored configuration, the modem prompts you to
overwrite the location. The screen appears as this example shows:
Loc 9 Contains Data!
Overwrite? NO YES (◄ ►)
Use the
◄ ► arrow keys to select No or Yes. Press ENTER. Select Yes, if prompted, to overwrite
the selected location’s existing configuration.
Once you properly save a modem configuration, press ENTER or CLEAR to return to the
previous menu.
6.3.6.2 (Save/Load Configuration:) Load
Use the ▲▼arrow keys to select the location of the modem configuration that is to be retrieved for
loading. Press ENTER. Locations 0 through 9 are available.
Using Location 9 as an example: If you select Load and a configuration is stored at the chosen
location, the time and date stamp of the previously stored configuration displays for identification
purposes, as this example shows:
Load Config from Loc: 9

If the selected location contains no configuration data, the screen appears as this example
shows:
Load Config from Loc 9
Empty (▲ ▼)
Use the ▲▼arrow keys to select another location from which to load a configuration (e.g.,
Location 8). Press ENTER. If the newly selected location contains valid data, the display appears
as this example shows:
New Config has been
Loaded from Loc 8 (ENT)
Once you properly load a modem configuration, press ENTER or CLEAR to return to the previous
menu.
