Appendix I. RADIUS CLIENT
I.1 Overview
Ethernet-based remote monitor and control (M&C) of the CDM-570A/570AL Satellite Modem is
available through the CDM-570A/570AL HTTP (Web Server) Interface, SNMP, and through the
issuance of remote commands and queries via Telnet.
For CDM-570A/570AL Satellite Modems that are equipped with the Optional IP Packet
Processor, additional remote M&C access is available via the Telnet Command Line Interface
(CLI).
Remote Authentication Dial In User Service (RADIUS) is a networking protocol that provides
centralized access authentication, authorization, and management for CDM-570A/570AL Satellite
Modems.
