DoubleTalk Carrier-in-Carrier Option G–29 MN-CDM570A
• If different satellite bands are selected on each side (for instance, Side A is Ku-Band,
while side B is C-Band) the modem will display an APC Band Mismatch fault (under
Rx faults). No further action is possible until this error has been corrected.
Based on the known RF terminal equipment in use, determine a value for the maximum
allowed power increase (TPLI
max
) and then set this value. From the CDM-570A front
panel, select the CONFIG
Tx  Pwr menu:
Output Power Level Mode:
Manual AUPC CnC-APC
With APC mode activated, CnC-APC is the only selectable mode. Press ENTER to
continue to edit the Tx Pwr Level:
Tx Pwr Level: -35.0dBm
Max Pwr increase: 2.5dB
To edit the power output level and the maximum permitted increase in power level
when in CnC-APC Mode: On the top line, use the ▲▼ arrow keys to select the value
(in dB) as -00.0, -10.0, -20.0, or -25.0. Press ENTER when done.
Note that when APC is in an active state, the power level on the bottom line will read
‘AUTO’.
5. Go back to the SELECT: CONFIG: CnC  MODE menu.
For the CDM-570AL only: On the bottom line, select Action and then press ENTER.
Then, use the
