Mechanical key
If the passive keyless entry and remote door
unlocking/locking features do not work, the doors
may be unlocked/locked by the mechanical key.
Taking out the mechanical key
Press the lock button ① and pull out the
mechanical key ②.
Unlocking/locking the doors by the
mechanical key
Pull the driver's door handle, insert the
mechanical key into the keyhole, and turn the
mechanical key clockwise to unlock the door.
After confirming that all doors are completely
closed, pull the driver's door handle, press your
feet against the door, and then turn the
mechanical key counterclockwise to lock the
door. After locking, push the door to make it
completely closed and locked firmly. Then pull
the door handle to make sure the door is locked
securely.
Replacing the key battery
The service life of the battery is about 2 years
normally, depending on the operating frequency
and the surrounding environment. If the remote
control of the smart key cannot work at a close
distance, or the smart key is in the vehicle but
the instrument cluster displays “Smart key is
not in the vehicle” or “No smart key is
detected”, it means the battery will be
exhausted or has been exhausted. In that case,
please renew the battery as soon as possible.
You are recommended to have the smart key
battery replaced by the authorized dealer or
replace the battery by yourself under the
guidance of professionals to avoid damaging the
smart key.
If you replace it by yourself, the CR2032 battery
and the corresponding tool are required.
● Take special care to prevent children from
swallowing the battery or the removed
parts.
● Improper disposal of the waste battery will
harm the environment, so please abide by
the relevant laws and regulations to
dispose it.
