Lane keeping assist (LKA)*
Function description
When the camera located on the upper edge of
the front windshield detects that the vehicle is
drifting out of the ego lane, in case the function
conditions are met, the LKA will assist the driver
in keeping the vehicle in the lane by applying a
reverse torque to the steering wheel.
Function activation conditions
The LKA function can be used only when the
following conditions are met:
There is a detectable lane marking on both
sides or one side of the ego lane, and the
vehicle is in the middle of the lane;
The vehicle speed is 60-150 km/h;
The vehicle is driving on a straight or slightly
curved road;
The lane width is 2.5-4.4 m;
The turn signal lamp and hazard warning
lamp are not on;
The vehicle is shifted into a forward gear;
The vehicle is moving smoothly and the
driver does not turn the steering wheel
sharply, faster or with greater force.
NOTE
In case of lane change with the turn signal
lamp not turned on, the LKA function may be
activated to apply steering torque to the
steering wheel.
CAUTION
Always hold the steering wheel with both
hands and be ready to make a turn at any
time. The driver must drive in the correct
lane.
The LKA system may recognize the lines
on the road as lane information (such as
zebra crossing, poor road surface and
stone road). Please maintain control of
the vehicle or turn off this function.
When the vehicle is in road sections with
complicated lanes (intersection/suddenly
changed lane markings/converging lane
markings, etc.), the lane information may
not be detected for a short time. Please
maintain control of the vehicle.
NOTE
When the LKA function is enabled, both the
LDW and LKA functions are turned on. At this
time, the LDW only gives audible alarm, and
the LDW mode is not available.
Function status description
If LKA is set on through MP5, the LKA status
indicator lamp (green) lights up when the
system is normal.
When the activation conditions are met and the
LKA function is on, the detected lane markings
will be highlighted in green if the vehicle is
driving normally between both lane markings. At
this time, the LKA status indicator lamp (green)
on the instrument cluster will light up:
