Inspect the coolant level. If it is found that a
small amount of coolant is consumed, open the
coolant reservoir filler cap , and add coolant to
the level near the MAX scale.
If it is found that a large amount of coolant is
consumed or the coolant is frequently in short
supply, please go to the authorized dealer for
inspection.
WARNING
Do not open the coolant reservoir filler
cap or radiator cover before the engine is
cooled down. As the coolant temperature
is high, and hot coolant or steam may be
ejected when it is opened, causing burns
to personnel.
Do not mix coolants of different grades or
brands. Do not add other fluids or
additives into the coolant, otherwise the
engine may be damaged.
If the coolant in the coolant reservoir
surfers color fade or change, the coolant
shall be replaced in time.
In the winter or cold regions, the coolant
with higher freeze protection shall be
used to adapt to the ambient temperature,
and thus to prevent the engine from being
damaged.
The coolant must be contained in a
closed container. Do not allow children to
contact it.
Recommended SAE viscosity for engine oil
Please select the appropriate engine oil
according to different ambient temperatures.
(See page 289 for details)
Inspection methods of engine oil level
Check the engine oil level with the oil dipstick:
1. Park the vehicle on the flat and solid ground;
2. Start the engine and warm it up until it
reaches the normal operating temperature
(approx. 5 min);
3. Shut the engine down and wait at least 10 min
to allow the engine oil to flow back to the oil
sump;
4. Pull out the oil dipstick, wipe off the oil stains
on the dipstick with a clean rag, and re-insert the
oil dipstick to the end;
5. Pull out the oil dipstick again and inspect that
the oil level is between MAX scale and MIN
scale.
