Preparation before driving
Air volume control
When the A/C is off, if you press the air volume
down button or the air volume up
button , the A/C system will be turned on.
When the A/C is on, if you press the air volume
down button or the air volume up
button , the fan speed can be changed.
There are 8 fan speed positions. Press the air
volume up button to increase the air
volume; press the air volume down button
to decrease the air volume.
Press and hold the fan speed up button to
increase the fan speed gradually to the 8th
position; press and hold the fan speed down
button to decrease the temperature
gradually to the 1st position.
With the fan speed in not less than 4th position,
when the A/C mode or recirculation/fresh air
mode is being switched, the fan speed will lower
to the 3rd position within 1s (included) and then
the mode switching is carried out. After the A/C
mode or recirculation/fresh air mode is switched
completely, the fan speed position shall be
restored to the set state within 4s (included) (the
fan speed position indicated on the display does
not change in the whole process).
Switching fresh air/ recirculation mode
Press the recirculation button on the
control panel, after which the indicator lamp on
the button comes on, or touch the recirculation
button on the A/V display, after which the
button is highlighted, indicating that the
recirculation mode is activated; at that time,
press again the recirculation button on the
control panel, after which the indicator lamp on
the button goes out, or touch again the
recirculation button on the A/V display,
after which the button is inactive, indicating that
the fresh air mode is activated.
Switching air outlet modes
When the A/C is turned on, click the mode
button on the MP5 display to select the air outlet
mode, which is a combination of panel mode,
floor mode and windshield mode. You can select
1, 2 or 3 buttons for combination according to
your needs, including the panel mode/floor
mode/windshield mode/panel and floor
mode/panel and windshield mode/floor and
windshield mode/panel, floor and windshield
mode.
Front windshield defogger
When the ENGINE START/STOP button is in
the “ON” position, the front windshield defogger
button can be operated. The front windshield
defogger is used to reduce moisture, fog and
frost on the surface of the front windshield to
improve the front view.
To quickly defog the front windshield surface:
● Set the temperature control knob to the
minimum value in general weather, and to
the maximum value in cold weather.
● Turn the fan speed control knob to the
maximum position.
● Close the center air outlet.
● Press the button .
● Set the fresh air mode.
