Switching air outlet modes
When the A/C is turned on, click the mode
button on the MP5 display to select the air outlet
mode, which is a combination of panel mode,
floor mode and windshield mode. You can select
1, 2 or 3 buttons for combination according to
your needs, including the panel mode/floor
mode/windshield mode/panel and floor
mode/panel and windshield mode/floor and
windshield mode/panel, floor and windshield
mode.
Front windshield defogger
When the ENGINE START/STOP button is in
the “ON” position, the front windshield defogger
button can be operated. The front windshield
defogger is used to reduce moisture, fog and
frost on the surface of the front windshield to
improve the front view.
To quickly defog the front windshield surface:
● Set the temperature control knob to the
minimum value in general weather, and to
the maximum value in cold weather.
● Turn the fan speed control knob to the
maximum position.
● Close the center air outlet.
● Press the button .
● Set the fresh air mode.
Rear windshield/exterior rearview mirror
defogger*
When the ENGINE START/STOP button is in
the “ON” position, the rear windshield/exterior
rearview mirror defogger button can be
operated. The rear windshield defogger is used
to reduce moisture, fog and frost on the surface
of the rear windshield to improve the rear view.
Press the rear windshield/ exterior rearview
mirror defogger button to activate the rear
windshield/ exterior rearview mirror heating
function*, and press it again to deactivate the
heating function*. This function will be
automatically deactivated after 15 minutes if
there is no manual operation.
CAUTION
For a continuous use of the defogger, be
sure to start the engine for fear that the
battery may run out easily.
NOTE
After the defogging or defrosting, please try
to deactivate the windshield defogger
function to reduce power consumption and
save fuel.
