Preparation before driving
Cooling
The A/C works only when the engine is running.
1. Press the button, and check that the
indicator lamp on the button comes on;
2. Slide the temperature control button on the
control panel downward or touch the
temperature down button on the MP5 display to
set a low temperature. Set the temperature
according to the demand;
3. Slide the fan speed control button on the
control panel upward or touch the fan speed up
button on the MP5 display to increase the fan
speed. Set the required fan speed according to
the demand.
● If the outside temperature is very high, the
recirculation mode can be activated to
improve the cooling efficiency.
● If you need to activate the Max A/C
function, press the Max A/C button .
Then the A/C system will automatically
set the recirculation mode, and adjust the
temperature to the lowest and the air
volume to the maximum.
● If you feel hot air coming out of the air
outlets in summer, please set the A/C to
the recirculation mode and set the
temperature to the lowest value.
● If the button is pressed, the button
indicator lamp will come on, indicating
that the A/C compressor is working.
● During cooling, the condensate water in
the system is drained through the
prearranged pipe. Therefore, there will be
a puddle of water underneath the vehicle
when the vehicle stops.
● To maintain a good sealing performance
of the compressor, the A/C shall be
operated at least once per month.
● The A/C will always be useful in any
season because it can eliminate moisture
and vapor.
● To achieve good cooling effect, the
windows should be closed when the A/C
is turned on.
● However, the windows can be opened for
temporary ventilation and then closed as
the inside temperature rises when the
vehicle is kept under the sun for a long
time. The A/C operation will increase the
fuel consumption of the engine.
One-touch Max A/C
Press the Max A/C button , then the button
indicator lamp will light up, the A/C will activate
the maximum A/C function, and be adjusted
automatically as follows:
● Recirculation mode.
● Fan speed control knob in the maximum
position.
● Temperature set to the lowest.
● Panel mode .
When the Max A/C button is pressed
again, the A/C system will deactivate the Max
A/C function and return to the previous state.
After the inside te peratur drops t a
suitable value, please try to deactivate the
Max A/C function so as to reduce energy
consumption and save fuel.
