Preparation before driving
Turning on the high beam under good lighting
conditions can dazzle and cause visual illusion to
the driver of the oncoming vehicle, thus easily
leading to accidents. The high beam should be used
as follows:
● Never use the high beam when driving on the
urban roads.
● The high beam and low beam should be turned
on alternately in the case of meeting in the night.
In the case of meeting in the night on a road
without central isolation facilities or centerlines,
be sure to switch to the low beam 150m from the
oncoming traffic.
● When the motor vehicle is passing through a
sharp curve, hill, arch bridge, crosswalk or
intersection without traffic lights at nighttime, the
high beam and low beam should be turned on
alternately for warning.
● When the vehicle is overtaking in the night, the
high beam and low beam should be turned on
alternately for warning; please give way safely
when the rear vehicle is using the high beam and
low beam alternately.
● If the high beam from the oncoming vehicle
dazzles you, turn on the high beam and low
beam alternately to remind the driver to turn off
the high beam.
● When the driver of the oncoming vehicle
frequently switching the high/low beam to warn
your, switch to low beam.
● If the high beam from the vehicle behind dazzles
you, lightly depress the brake pedal several
times to remind the driver to keep a safe
distance.
● When driving on the expressway, please turn on
the high beam.
Turn signal lamp
Turn the lighting combination switch upward to
the bottom parallel to the steering wheel plane,
so that the right turn signal lamp comes on. At
this time, the right turn signal indicator lamp
on the instrument cluster will flash.
Turn the lighting combination switch downward
to the bottom parallel to the steering wheel
plane, so that the left turn signal lamp comes on.
At this time, the left turn signal indicator lamp
on the instrument cluster will flash.
At the end of turning, the lever returns to the
original position automatically with steering
wheel return; meanwhile, the turn signal lamp
goes out automatically.
Turn signal lamp fault
When you turning on the front or rear turn signal
lamp, if the turn signal lamp and the turn signal
indicator lamp on the corresponding side on the
instrument cluster flash at a high frequency, it
indicates that the turn signal lamp is faulty and
needs repair. Please go to the authorized dealer
for inspection.
Lane change function of turn signal lamp*
When lane change is required, pull the lighting
combination switch lever gently.
To change to the right lane, turn the lighting
combination switch upward parallel to the
steering wheel plane (up to the limit point). The
right turn signal lamp will flash 3/5/7 times, and
the right turn signal indicator lamp on the
instrument cluster will flash at the same time.
To change to the left lane, turn the lighting
combination switch downward parallel to the
steering wheel plane (up to the limit point). The
left turn signal lamp will flash 3/5/7 times, and
the left turn signal indicator lamp on the
instrument cluster will flash at the same time.
At the end of turning or lane change, please
make sure the lighting combination switch
has returned to the original position,
otherwise it should be returned manually.
Setting number of lighting times of lane
change lamp*
The number of lighting times of lane change
lamp (3 times, 5 times or 7 times) can be set
through “CarCenter” – “Body settings” – “Exterior
lighting” – “Number of lighting times of lane
change lamp” in MP5.
