Follow-me-home function
The Follow-me-home function can be realized by
the following operations:
1. Set the ENGINE START/STOP button from
“ACC” or “ON” to “OFF” position;
2. Pull the lighting combination switch toward the
steering wheel plane within 60s. The low beam
will stay on for a period of time to help you to
leave the parking space in the dark. After this
delay ends, the low beam will go out
automatically.
Setting of Follow-me-home lamps
The Follow-me-home function can be set via the
MP5 system, with the following options for the
delay of lighting: “15s”, “30s”, “45s” or “60s”.
(Refer to MP5 and navigation system* section in
Chapter 9 for details)
Courtesy lamp*
After the vehicle is unlocked, the courtesy lamp
will come on to give convenience for entering the
vehicle when “CarCenter” – “Body settings” –
“Exterior lighting” – “Courtesy lamp” in MP5 is
set ON.
Lighting power delay function
When the ENGINE START/STOP button is in
“ON” position and the low beam, high beam, rear
fog lamp are on, set the ENGINE START/STOP
button to “OFF” position. The low beam, high
beam, and rear fog lamp will stay on for 5min
and then go out automatically.
If the lamps are not turned off when you get out
of the vehicle, press the lock button on the
remote controller when all the doors are closed.
The headlamps will go out automatically.
If the engine is not to be run for a long time,
do not turn on the lamps such that the battery
will not run out.
Trunk lamp
When the trunk lid is opened, the trunk lamp
located in the trunk will come on; When the trunk
lid is closed, this lamp will go out.
Vanity mirror lamp*
To use the vanity mirror, pull down the sun visor
and open the vanity mirror cover.
The vanity mirror lamp will come on after the
vanity mirror cover is opened to 60° to 90°. The
vanity mirror lamp will go out after the vanity
mirror cover is closed.
The vanity mirror lamp works all the time
provided that the battery has power,
regardless of the position of the ENGINE
START/STOP button.
