- Loosen the driven pulley shaft fixing nut with an
offset wrench and lock pulley shaft rotation using
a hex box-spanner.
- Remove the nut and collect the washer.
- Remove the transmission cover with a mallet to
help extracting both shafts from their bearings.
- Check that both bearings rotate freely; otherwise,
replace them.
N.B.
EACH TIME THE TRANSMISSION COVER IS
REMOVED, REPLACE THE CRANKSHAFT AD-
JUSTING RING.
