Phase Modulation
For example, if you set up ΦMPath1 for normal phase modulation with a carrier
frequency of 400 MHz, and a rate of 100 kHz, the maximum peak deviation that
you can set is 0.5 (value of N) times 90 radians resulting in a maximum peak
deviation of 45 radians.
Notice that the new value of
ΦM deviation applies only to whichever ΦM path
configuration you have currently selected. Also,
ΦMPath2 is limited to a
maximum rate of 1 MHz. Also, whenever
ΦMPath1 is used with ΦMPath2, the
deviation for
ΦMPath1 must be greater than or equal to the deviation for
ΦMPath2.
