4.1.3.1.2 Accessing Network Settings in Windows 7 and Windows 8
1 Open the Control Panel (Start >> Control Panel) and Select Network and
Sharing Center.
2 Click Change adapter settings on the left side pane (see Figure 4-5). This will
open the Network Connections window.

3 In the Network Connections window, right click on the appropriate Local Area
Connection, and select Properties (see Figure 4-6).
