2. Insert a screwdriver into the slot to the left of the plate to hold the plate in position, and then loosen the
screws (A).
3. Slide the scanner rod mounting plate left or right accordingly—to the right to correct negative skew and to
the left to correct positive skew—and then tighten the screws.
4. Make a copy to check the skew, and then repeat the steps as needed.
5. Tighten the screws firmly, and replace the scanner cover.
