Sensor (ADF 1st scan) removal
See “ADF electronics” on page 7-27 for the part number.
1. Remove the ADF turn guide. See “ADF turn guide removal” on page 4-202.
2. Disconnect the cable from the sensor.
3. Remove the screw (A) to remove the mounting bracket.
4. Remove the screw securing the sensor to its bracket.
Sensor (ADF 2nd scan) removal
See “ADF electronics” on page 7-27 for the part number.
1. Remove the ADF media pinch pad assembly. See “ADF media pinch pad assembly removal” on
page 4-186.
2. Squeeze the tabs to remove the sensor from the mounting bracket.
