6. From the other end of the belt, remove the clip (B) and the washer (C) under, and then slide the belt off the
gear.
7. Leave the cable (D) connected to the motor.
8. From the left side of the printer, lift the rear CCD scanner shaft (E), and slide the shaft out of the flatbed
until it clears the motor.
9. Remove four screws (F), and remove the carriage drive motor assembly.
