Engine fault alerts enable during engine operation.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
High engine coolant temperature or low engine oil pressure.
High Engine Temperature Low Oil Pressure

Check coolant level and quality.

Check engine oil level at dipstick.

Check fan belt for excessive wear.
Check pressure sender. (See Test 3—Checking
Resistance at the Engine Oil Pressure Switch.)

Add or replace
coolant.
Check for leaks
before adding oil.

Check if radiator is plugged.
Check temperature switch. (See Test 2—Checking
