Does system pressurize to 241 bar (3,500 psi) when moving gantry switch
from neutral to lower position at remote control?
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Switch failure. Solenoid failure. Mechanical problem.

Are mechanical problems present at
gantry cylinders?
Yes
No
Enable gantry extend and retract solenoid valves
and check that voltage is present.

No Voltage
Check for 12 volts at gantry power switch, wire
#43 for raise or #44 for lower.

No Voltage
Repair
problem.
Adjust cylinder counterbalance
valve. (See Test 21—Adjusting the
Counterbalance Valves.) Does
cylinder operate correctly?
No
Replace cylinder or consult dealer/factory.
Check wiring to solenoid
and replace, if necessary.
Check appropriate diode to wire #89D1.
Diode Good Diode Bad
Replace solenoid valve section. Replace diode.
Replace power switch fuse F13.
