PROBLEM 23
Frame connecting pin cylinders will not extend or retract.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Faulty relief valve. Faulty auxiliary system disable valve. Faulty proportional flow control valve.
Cylinder failure. Faulty control valve section. Mechanical problem.
CHECKS
Check for 12 volts at auxiliary disable valve when enabling cylinders.
12 Volts No Volts
Check for 241 bar (3,500 psi) at upper accessory valve while
enabling any upper accessory valve. (See Test 15—
Checking System Voltage at the Hydraulic Valve
Assemblies.)
241 bar (3,500 psi) or More
241 bar (3,500 psi) or Less
Adjust auxiliary system disable valve and
check pressure. (See Test 25—Checking
Pin Cylinder Seals.)
Check Diagnostic display screen (bank 3) for
change of 4 when enabling cylinders.
Change No Change
Check disable valve wiring.
Consult dealer/factory.
Enable problem frame connecting pin cylinder solenoid
valve and check if voltage is present.
