6.4 Rigging the main boom

4. Lift the main boom into the turntable and align the connecting points;

5. On the boom pivot pin
– Push in the pivot pin
– secure the pivot pin;
– Switch the hydraulic circuit over

6. Set down the main boom in the boom rest with the auxiliary crane and
remove the lifting gear.
7. On the derricking cylinder head axle
– Level the derricking cylinder,
– Fit the head pin
– Secure the head pin;

8. Switch off the derricking cylinder pressure relief;
à p. 6 - 29.
9. Raise the main boom.
