Transfer case
• Switch on the tow away mode.
Switching towing mode on/off
Switching on
• Select and confirm the symbol (1).
– Display symbol (2) – tow away mode on.
– Display symbol (3) – transfer case in
neutral position.
Switching off
• Select and confirm the symbol (2)
– Display symbol (1) – tow away mode off.
– Display (4) – Symbol for the current
switching state, for example, for on-road
driving.
Parking brake
• Release the parking brake.
The lamp (1) must go out.
If the lamp continues to light up, the supply pressure may be too low. Let
the engine of the truck crane or towing vehicle run on the compressed-air
supply until the supply pressure has been built up;

If the lamp (1) does not go out, there is a malfunction on the parking brake

Risk of accidents due to faulty brakes
If the service brake system has been damaged, you may only tow
the truck crane from the immediate hazard area after consulting with
Manitowoc Crane Care.
