Scale Leveling and Calibration
A. Digital Scale
1. The weigh station is a small reservoir containing a metal pedestal resting on
an electronic balance. It contains a plastic disposable cup with a removable
lid.
2. The scale is located under the Dispenser Service Area weigh station.
3. During a production run, the needle tip is inserted into the top of the weigh
station lid and fluid is dispensed into the plastic cup and weighed by the
scale. The values are reported to the software.
B. Scale Leveling and Calibration
1. In order for the mass flow calibration to be accurate, the scale must be level
and calibrated.
2. The scale is leveled and calibrated at the Asymtek factory prior to shipping,
but it may be necessary to re-level and calibrate it if:
The dispensing system has been moved.
You are experiencing mass flow calibration errors.
Any components have been changed or moved.
3. The scale should also be leveled and calibrated semi-annually in order to
record an accurate weight.
