A. Pneumatics Fault Isolation Procedure
1. The Pneumatics Fault Isolation Procedure consists of the following:

2. Before troubleshooting, please follow the troubleshooting guidelines below.
B. Pneumatics Troubleshooting Summary
Symptom Possible Cause Recovery
1. There is an air leak in the
dispensing system
pneumatic line.
Check for source of leak and
seal leak or replace leaking
component.
2. Leak in facility air supply
hose.
Repair or replace hose.
Air is hissing at the
rear of the system.
3. Facility air pressure is too
high.
Adjust facility air pressure.
1. System is not connected to
facility air supply.
Check the Main Air Inlet at the
rear of the system.
No Air Pressure.
2. Main air regulator is OFF.
Verify Main Air Regulator is
set properly.
C. Troubleshooting Guidelines
1. A dispensing system in need of troubleshooting may have High Voltage
present in both designated and unsuspected places that can result in injury
or death. It is imperative to adhere to the Safety Precautions outlined in the
Safety Section of this training guide.
2. Disconnect and lockout power to systems connected to the dispensing
system (such as loaders and ovens) before troubleshooting. Failure to do so
may result in serious injury or death.
3. Troubleshooting should only be performed by an Asymtek Field Service
Engineer or an Asymtek-trained service technician.
