Safety Interlock and Light Beacon
A. Introduction
The Safety Interlock is a safety feature that is activated when the dispenser hood
is opened. The Safety Interlock immediately stops all dispensing activity to
protect the operator from serious injury. The Light Beacon can serve as a visual
or audible warning device, indicating different Interlock status conditions either by
turning on a different colored light for each condition, or by issuing an alarm.
Proper adherence to these features is essential in operating the X-1000
Dispensing Systems safely and properly.
