Leveling the Scale (Continued)
To level the scale:
1. Remove the Dispensing Area Front Cover and put it in a safe place.
Lay the plate down on a flat surface. Do not stand it on edge or lean it
against something as this may bend the plate.
2. Gently apply pressure to opposite corners of the Scale Base to determine its all-
around stability.
The Scale Base should not be rigid. It should compress and move up and
down, but it should not seem to be loose.
3. With the Circular Level on the clean Scale Pedestal, turn the two leveling screws
on the back of the Scale with the flat blade screwdriver, as necessary, until the
bubble is in the center of the circle.
Turning a screw counterclockwise lowers that corner of the Scale Base.
Turning a screw clockwise raises that corner.
4. When the Scale is level, replace the plastic cup, banjo wiper, Circular Level, and
Weigh Station Cover.
5. Reinstall the Dispensing Area Front Cover.
