Close the paper receiving tray.
Placement of Originals
■ Relation of original and paper orienta-
tions
Make sure that the orientations of the original and the
paper are as shown below.
Short edge paper feed
Long edge paper feed
Originals can be scanned by using the glass platen
or the optional auto document feeder.
BWhen [Layout] (A 60), [Multi-Up Print]
(A 62) or [2 Up] (A 66) is selected, the ori-
entations of the original and the paper vary
depending on the setting.
