Playing back a tape
To operate the video control buttons, set the POWER switch to VCR/PLAYER.*
To pause playback (viewing a still image)
Press II during playback. To resume normal playback, press II or II,-.
To advance the tape
Press I_- in the stop mode. To resmne normal playback, press 1_.
To rewind the tape
Press _ in the stop mode. To resmne normal playback, press 1_.
To change the playback direction _ _
Press < on tile Remote Commander during playback to reverse tile playback direction.
To resume normal playback, press IP_.
To locate a scene monitoring the picture (picture search)
Keep pressing _1 or _ during playback. To resume normal playback, release tile
button.
To monitor high-speed pictures while advancing or rewinding
the tape (skip scan)
Keep pressing _1 while rewinding or _ while advancing the tape. To resume
rewinding or advancing, release tile button.
To view pictures at slow speed (slow playback)
Press I_ on the Remote Comnmnder during playback. To resume normal playback,
press II,_.
To change the slow playback direction _ _
Press <, tben press |_ Oil the Remote Commander.
To view pictures at double speed qE_]r _
Press x2 on tile Remote Commander during playback. For double speed playback in tbe
reverse direction, press <, then press x2 on the Remote Commander. To resmne
normal playback, press IP_.
To view pictures frame-by-frame _ _
Press IIl_ on tile Remote Comnmnder in the playback pause mode. For frame-by-flame
playback in the reverse direction, press _111.To resume normal playback, press II,_.
To search the last scene recorded (END SEARCH)
Press END SEARCH in tile stop mode. Tim last five seconds of tile recorded section are
played back and playback stops.
