Using the built-in light
Notes
The built-in light turns off automatically in the following cases:
When you leave it on for more than five minutes with tile POWER switch set to
MEMORY. _
When it stays on in the AUTO mode (_D_) for more than five minutes.
When you leave it on for more than five minutes with no cassette inserted or after
the tape has run out.
To turn the built4n light on again, press LIGHT again.
The batte_\y pack discharges quickly while the builtqn light is turned on. Turn it off
when not in use.
When you do not use your eamcorder, turn the builMn light off and remove the
battery pack to avoid turning on the builMn light accidentally.
When flickering occurs while shooting in the AUTO mode (_m), press LIGHT
until the _1_ indicator appears.
The huilt-in light may turn on/off when you use the PROGRAM AE or backlight
function while shooting in the AUTO mode (_).
The built-in light may turn off when inserting or ejecting a cassette.
The builtqn light is turned off in the following cases:
While the end search function is working
Interval time of Interval recording
When you use the conversion lens (optional), light from the huilt4n light is blocked
and may not illuminate the subject properly.
