Backing-Up and Restoring Printer Settings
Printer modes and configuration settings are stored in files on the printer
computer. You can back up these files, and restore them, if necessary, using
desktop icons.

ReInitiate Wizard
One of the wizards listed in the Options menu is ReInitiate. You normally do
not have to run this wizard. The process that this wizard controls runs
automatically, when needed, as part of the Pre-print mode (before printing
begins). Run this wizard only if your Stratasys service provider instructs you to
do so.
Preventive Maintenance Tasks
Performing regular preventive maintenance improves system reliability,
reduces downtime, and prolongs the life of your system. Perform the tasks
listed below once a year, or every 1000 printing hours, whichever comes first.
Performing these tasks on schedule:
• improves system reliability
• reduces system downtime and costly repairs
• protects and prolongs the life of your system
The first preventive maintenance (after purchase) is performed by a
Stratasys Service Engineer.
Note: To perform Preventive Maintenance routine, you will need the
Preventive Maintenance kit. To order the Preventive Maintenance kit, contact
your Stratasys service provider.
