A SetupMenus
A.1 Introduction
The setup menus are used during installation to enter your machine type and
settings, or they are used later to change any of the settings or to load a design file.
A.2 Using the setup menus
At various stages during the install you must use the setup menus. To ensure that
you have access to all menu items, you must start the control box in Manager mode.
To access Manager mode:
1.
Press and hold \ as you press P.
2.
Hold down \ until the control box displays the opening screen.
CAUTION — If you lack experience with the GCS900 Grade Control System, use extreme
care when in Manager mode so that you do not accidentally change the system settings.
The system has two modes: Operator and Manager.
In Manager mode:
l
menu items that are disabled in Operator mode are identified by a red dot:
l softkeys that are disabled in Operator mode are identified by red text
l you can:
view all menu items, softkeys and views for the current machine type,
including items that are disabled in Operator mode
perform all Manager and Operator mode functions.
A.2.1 Setup Menu–Configuration
To access the Setup Menu – Configuration dialog, press M.
A.2.2 Setup Menu – Installation
To access the Setup Menu – Installation dialog:
1.
Press M. The Setup Menu – Configuration dialog appears.
2. Press Installation.
