5. Insert a large screwdriver into the mast and torque the mast onto the bracket:

Select a location for the bracket that is:
l as far to the rear of the counterweight as possible, without overhanging the rear
of the machine
l on the centerline of the excavator's body

To attach the bracket:
1. Tack weld the bracket to the counterweight so that the bracket is level and the
left and right sides of the bracket are parallel to the centerline of the machine.
The bracket is level when the vertical axis of the installed sensor is parallel
(±1°) to the axis of rotation of the excavator body.
