6.14 Lightbar brackets
Note External lightbars are only available for systems that include a CB460
control box.
Each lightbar assembly consists of:
l A lightbar
l Industrial strength hook and loop tape
l A lightbar bracket
6.14.1 Select a location for the lightbar brackets
Mount the lightbars inside the machine cab. Suitable locations vary according to the
machine type; when you select a location, consider the following:
l The operator’s line of sight during normal machine operation. Mount the
lightbars near this line of sight so that they are easily visible but do not obstruct
the operator’s view.
l The LEDs on the lightbars are only visible from certain angles. Mount each
lightbar so that the operator gets the best view of the LEDs.
l Each lightbar housing is 174mm (6.85in) long, 53mm (2.1in) wide, and has a
height of 32mm (1.3in).
l The lightbar weighs approximately 200g (

lb).
6.14.2 Install the lightbar brackets
To install the lightbar brackets, do one of the following:
l To attach the bracket to a surface that is at a 90° angle to the bracket, use the
supplied nuts, washers, and bolts.
l To attach the bracket elsewhere in the cab, use one of the following:
the supplied nuts, washers, and bolts
double-sided tape
hook and loop tape
