7 Installing theCab Components
7.6.1 Install and connect the light bars
Note – If you are not mounting the lighbars on brackets, and need to determine
where to mount the lightbars, see 6.14 Lightbar brackets.
To attach the lightbar to a:
l standard bracket, use hook and loop tape, or the nuts, washers, and bolts
provided
l custom-made bracket, use hook and loop tape
Tip – If you remove the lightbars, store them in the foam-lined case for protection.
Note – After removal, re-mount each lightbar in the same position. Otherwise, you
need to reset the Lightbar Connections.
7.6.2 Validate the installation
1. Turn on the master disconnect switch.
2. Turn on the ignition.
3.
Press and hold \ and press P to turn the control box on in Manager mode.
Continue to hold \ until the splash screen displays.
4.
When the control box start-up has completed, press M and then Installation.
5. Configure the system to use external lightbars. For more information, see A.3
Machine settings. After pressing Finish the lightbars should activate briefly.
6.
Press and hold P to turn the control box off.
7. Turn off the ignition.
8. Turn off the master disconnect switch.
