ATTENTION – Make sure the boom sensor bracket is mounted with the wide side of the
bracket perpendicular to the top plate of the boom, as shown below.
Install a boom angle sensor bracket
Stitch weld each side of the plate using three 25 mm (1 inch) long, 5 mm (3/16 inch)
fillet beads along the longitudinal axis of the boom.
Bolt the narrow edge of the sensor bracket to the weld plate using two M10 x 16mm
bolts.
6.9 Body angle sensor bracket
The AS460 body angle sensor bracket can be welded directly to the machine body
or bolted to a plate or weld bosses using the bolt holes (1) on either the vertical or
horizontal faces. The sensor is secured to the bracket using the studs (2) and
aligned by the locating pins (3).
