When you select a location for each bracket, consider the following:
l To avoid damage to the sensors when the machine is in use, install the brackets
so that the operator can see the sensors from the cab.
l For optimum performance, position the angle sensor within 1meter (39inches)
of the pivot point.
l You must ensure that when mounted, the vertical plane of the angle sensor
and/or laser catcher is parallel to the centerline of the boom:

Note – For side mounts, you may need to use an angled spacer to mount the
bracket.
