6.8.3 Protocol
Protocol is a set of rules that defines how computers communicate with
each other when they transmit and receive data. A window is
displayed with the following options:
• No Parity, 8 Data, 1 Stop
N/8/1 appears on the COMMUNICATIONS MENU
• Even Parity, 7 Data, 1 Stop
E/7/1 appears on the COMMUNICATIONS MENU
• Select the
protocol
to be used for exporting data and press ENTER.
The COMMUNICATIONS MENU will reappear, and the selected protocol is
listed to the right of Protocol.
6.8.4 Settings for Transmitting to BIAS
Baud Rate: 9600
Protocol: Even Parity, 7 data, 1 stop
