3.5.5.3 Synthetic Fiber Calibration Tolerances
The Synthetic Fiber Calibration Tolerance values should be about 1.5 to
2.0 times the standard deviations obtained during testing. If the
standard deviation for strength is 1 gram per tex, the strength tolerance
should be set to 1.5. If this method does not work for the fiber being
tested, the strength tolerance should be increased to 2.0.
