4 Pull out the SAC from the receiver.
4.1 Attach the lever chain hoist (010, Figure 11-17) to the chain (004) and to an
applicable point on the engine room wall.
4.2 Operate the lever chain hoist to pull the SAC a small distance.
4.3 Remove the safety lugs (008) from their stowage positions on the supports (003,
005).
4.4 Attach the safety lugs (008) to the SAC (001).
4.5 Attach the safety chains (009) to the safety lugs (008) and to the supports (003,
005).
NOTE: Always use the correct safety chains. This prevents that you can pull
out the SAC too much.
4.6 Attach the shackle to the trolley (012).
4.7 Attach the spur-geared chain block to the shackle on the trolley (012) and to the
middle lug on the SAC.
4.8 Operate the spur-geared chain block to hold the weight of the SAC.
4.9 Operate the lever chain hoist to pull the SAC until the fixed (rear) side is on the
supports.
4.10 Attach the spur-geared chain block to the shackle on the second trolley and to
the two lugs on the SAC.
4.11 Operate the manual ratchets to fully hold the weight of the SAC.
4.12 Remove the safety chains (009).
