CHECKING THE WIRE HARNESS
CONTINUITY

Check:
• Wire harness continuity
No continuity → Replace.
CHECKING THE WIRE CONNECTIONS 8
Check:
• Wire connections
Poor connection → Properly connect.
CHECKING THE STARTER RELAY 8
Check:
• Starter relay continuity
No continuity → Replace.
Checking steps
(1) Connect the tester and battery between
the starter relay terminals.
(2) Check that there is continuity between
the starter relay terminals.
Positive digital tester probe 1 →
Starter relay terminal
Negative digital tester probe 2 →
Starter relay terminal
Positive battery terminal →
Brown lead 3
Negative battery terminal →
Black lead 4
