9. 6. 1. 8 Access concept
The mailbox owner can carry out his own voice message management and config-
uration of personal greetings. However a special authorization is required for re-
cording and deleting global greetings. For this a user must be assigned an authori-
zation profile with the administration right Audio services. Also the user PIN must
not be set to the default value "0000".
Note:
The Audio services permission is also used for the Announcement service and for Mu-
sic on hold.
9. 6. 1. 9 System configuration
The settings in Tab. 213 apply to all voice mailboxes. They are accessed using the
AMS Configuration Manager under menu item 1_6_1.
Tab. 213 Global settings for voice messages
The settings in the following tables can be configured for each voice mailbox and
can be accessed using the AMS Configuration Manager under menu item 1_6_2. A
new mailbox must first be created. The configured mailbox is then assigned to a
user. Both real and virtual users can be assigned.
