proxy. It is used to control Internet access and to provide related statistics (user, protocols, URL ...).
- integrated cache: this function is used to accelerate Internet requests and to reduce the costs of
accessing the telephone network.
- Electronic messaging server: it allows users to make use of a personal electronic address in the
company. It is possible to create as many messaging accounts as required within the limits of the
system, while optimising the corresponding traffic to the Internet The functions are as follows:

- VPN : this solution allows safe connections to the LAN via the Internet infrastructure . Consequently,
remote users take advantage of all the resources of the LAN. Several sites can be remotely connec-

- Access between two LAN ("LAN to LAN" configuration, IPSec protocol)
