NMC (Network Management Center)
The Alcatel 4740 network Management Center has been designed to enable telephone network ma-
nagers to manage, administer and optimize one or several Alcatel OmniPCX Office communication
systems remotely.
ENVIRONMENT
Connecting remote Alcatel OmniPCX Office systems (Management Center subscribers)
All remote Alcatel OmniPCX Office subscribed systems which are managed by the same Management
Center are connected to the public network (PSTN or ISDN) through analog trunk lines or T0/T2 ac-
cesses.
Notas : ANALOG NMC:
The TL must be configured with Polarity Inversion to release the modem (the Management Center
being the master of the communication).
Connecting the Management Center
The Alcatel 4740 station is connected to the Alcatel OmniPCX Office system by an Ethernet link (the
client LAN).
