PROTOCOLS AND PRINCIPLES OF FILTERING
The table below presents the protocol filtering possibilities, depending on the OmniPCX Office confi-
guration.
It sets out the options for inhibiting or allowing a particular protocol, as a function of the services pre-
sent in OmniPCX Office.
Exemple : A client wants to inhibit the Real Audio Player protocol.
This protocol is one of those supported by NAT; its filtering principle depends on the fi-
rewall alone.
If the firewall is active, the Security->Protocol Control [Multimedia] box must not be
checked; if it is inactive, the client cannot inhibit this protocol.
