(AOCC)
APPLICATIONS
Ed. 04 3/4Réf. 3EH 21000 BSAA
INSTALLATION
- Connect up the AOCC application (Ethernet link and analog links).
- Configure the system IP address (PM5 -> Hardware and Limits -> IP Boards); this address is
usually supplied by the IT network administrator (when using an existing LAN) but it can be any
address (in the case of direct connections) providing it matches the one entered in AOCC.
CONFIGURING THE SYSTEM SIDE
To ensure that the application works well, you need to modify a number of Alcatel OmniPCX settings:
-in PM5 -> System Miscellaneous -> Feature Design, make sure "o Group Called with Signa-
lisation Mode" and "o CLI for VPS" are unchecked.
- check that the "EnquiEButt" flag is set to 00H (applies particularly to Belgium)
- cancel dynamic routing on all the analog accesses used for the AOCC connection
- check that these analog accesses have the "Telephone" service
- a number of general rules have to be adhered to when configuring agent stations and analog ac-
cesses:
• cancel all dynamic routing
• prohibit intrusion
• prohibit call pickup (a statistics issue)
• prohibit conference calls
• do not use forwarding (of whatever type)
• if external transfer is used, authorize joining for the Z accesses used by AOCC
- check the barring levels and traffic sharing settings for the AOCC lines.
